Bilal Ahmed, MD

Dr. Bilal Ahmed is an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, refractive, and anterior segment surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pikeville before receiving his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences.

Dr. Ahmed completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, where he also served as Chief Medical Editor for EyeRounds. Following residency, he completed advanced specialized training through a fellowship in Cataract, Refractive, and Anterior Segment Surgery at the Cleveland Eye Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
