We are excited to announce the arrival of a new optometrist to the Eye Surgeons of Indiana team – Dr. Nathan M. Morrow.
Dr. Morrow grew up in Auburn, IN, and attended Indiana University, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. As an undergraduate, he was a varsity letter-winning member of the IU Track & Field/Cross Country team, earning Academic All-Big Ten recognition for each fall, winter, and spring season he competed.
In 2017 he graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry, where he served as Student Association President, worked with his peers to provide free eye screenings to the underserved, represented his school as a student delegate at the AOA’s annual Optometry Meeting, and attended the AOA Congressional Advocacy Conference in Washington, D.C. on multiple occasions. His clinical externships included the Eye Institute of Utah, Perry Point VA Medical Center, and the Indianapolis Eye Care Center.
Following graduation, Dr. Morrow completed a year-long ocular disease residency in a collaborative care practice in Atlanta, GA. He worked closely with the practice’s ophthalmologists on pre-operative and peri-operative care and was responsible for on-call duties, allowing him to sharpen his skills in triage and emergent care.
Dr. Morrow is committed to providing excellent care to his patients and is honored to work with the talented professionals at Eye Surgeons of Indiana.
