Melissa Melott, OD
LASIK Center Director
Dr. Melott is a native Hoosier, born and raised in Greenwood, Indiana. She attended Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then continued her studies at the Indiana University School of Optometry (IUSO), where she graduated in May of 1997. During her time at IUSO, Dr. Melott enjoyed teaching and served as an Associate Instructor in several clinical courses. Dr. Melott completed a fellowship in the management and treatment of ocular disease at the Faust Gelvin Eye Center in Marion, Indiana. Dr. Melott has enjoyed practicing in Indianapolis for the past 20 years, specializing in refractive surgery management. She joined Eye Surgeons of Indiana in July 2021.
