At Eye Surgeons of Indiana, we believe that not all patients are best suited for one procedure. We provide several customized, advanced treatment options to meet your specific needs and goals. Imagine your eyesight being crisper, sharper, brighter, and more vibrant than you ever thought possible!
In preparation for your appointment, we recommend that patients stop wearing soft contact lenses for seven days prior to their consultation. If this is not possible for the original appointment, we may request that you return to the clinic for additional measurements before the day of your procedure. This is important to assure the best possible visual result.

Meet
Melissa Melott, OD
Dr. Melott is a native Hoosier, born and raised in Greenwood, Indiana. She attended Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then continued her studies at Indiana University School of Optometry (IUSO) where she graduated in May of 1997. During her time at IUSO, Dr. Melott enjoyed teaching and served as an Associate Instructor in several clinical courses. Dr. Melott completed a fellowship in the management and treatment of ocular disease at the Faust Gelvin Eye Center in Marion Indiana. Dr. Melott has enjoyed practicing in Indianapolis for the last 20 years, specializing in the management of refractive surgery. She joined Eye Surgeons of Indiana in July 2021.
