Dr. Wahl is a graduate of the prestigious Indiana University School of Optometry. She received the Doctorate in Optometry degree in 1999.

While still in the School of Optometry Dr. Wahl chose to pursue advanced training in medical and surgical eye care. Based on her outstanding credentials and personality she was accepted for a year of intensive training at Eye Surgeons of Indiana. She has extensive experience in pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care for cataract, refractive and retina patients. Her special interests include the care and management of astigmatism, farsightedness, glaucoma, diabetes, infection and dry eyes.

Dr. Wahl is certified to evaluate and co-manage the care of patients who receive cataract surgery or LASIK. She is trained and approved in the evaluation and management of  the recently developed PRELEX procedure, too. Dr. Wahl is also one of the first optometrists in the world to receive certification to work with patients receiving the Array Multifocal intraocular lens.
